I was pleased to have accompanied my colleague and funeral director Aaron Taylor to London recently to attend The Foundation for Infant Loss Conference where we heard personal accounts and listened to medical professionals and family members with regards to their own experiences of baby loss.
Aaron was invited in order to be awarded Funeral Director of the Year as a result of the exceptional care he has given to the families he has supported following the loss of their children. Aaron received multiple nominations from family members and professionals during the year which just shows what a special chap he is. We are all extremely proud of him.
A hard hitting and emotional Conference Event recognising the importance of baby and Infant Loss and how important the care given at the time and afterwards actually is to bereaved parents and how much more work there is actually to do to support these families.
