We were delighted with Harry’s results and were grateful for his experience within the field he has commanded locally for such a long time.
We further look forward to welcoming Harry back in the near future when we hope he will capture the expanded group of staff which include our dedicated and experienced team of bearers.
To me these photographs encapture the work of the unsung heroes that each of these individuals and our bearing team achieve as they continue to provide, during this pandemic, work ethics of 24 hours a day, seven days a week and 365 days a year.
They are unable to socially distance from a cause of death;
They have so often been last in line for PPE;
Constantly go above and beyond for the care of the loved ones they serve;
Continually searching for the best methods currently available for the needs of the individual funeral;
And most of all, during these testing times, seeking ways to hold the families they serve hands without touching them.
I am eternally grateful for their total dedication and am incredibly proud to call them colleagues.
