Our colleague Paul Cousins recently completed his training as company First Aider which means he can now attend to any staff members or clients who may be taken unwell or require basic first aid assistance.
Our grateful thanks to Fat Panda First Aid Training for guiding Paul through what was required and providing him with his certificate and acknowledging that he reached the recommended standard of care within this important field. (Company director, Barbara Scrimshaw presenting Paul with his certificate).
We were also are pleased this week to acknoweldge that Paul has reached his first year anniversary since starting with us. Paul’s important role with us is to oversee and maintain the facilities of loved ones within our care and the ever growing comings and goings of those loved ones within our care as they go onto leave us, looking the very best they can, before making their final journey and giving the families that we serve the best opportunity of saying their final goodbyes.
Paul is a huge asset to our team and his quiet unassuming manner never goes unnoticed with us all as he gently just goes about his work. Of course we do have to watch ourselves from time to time with the pranks and jokes he likes to play on staff members, and no cake or biscuit is safe once he spots them!
Thank you Paul for all you do to ensure that the service we provide to our community goes from strength to strength and the wheels keep on turning to provide the very best care to the families that we are so proud to serve.
