Remembrance Day is an extremely important date in our yearly calendar. It’s a time when we as individuals make every effort to support the fantastic work of the Royal British Legion by purchasing and wearing of Poppies. To wear a Poppy acknowledges the courage and bravery and loss of lives of the many servicemen that have laid down their lives in the past and in recent times so that we can live our lives today.
We will be remembering those brave souls over the weekend with the various Services of Remembrance that will take part in our area and all over the country and we here, on Monday, will be making every effort to make the time to STOP and join in with the 2 minute Act of Remembrance at 11.00am.
“When you go home tell them of us and say: For your tomorrow we gave our today”
We Will Remember Them!
