ESTIMATE OF COSTS

It is our responsibility to supply you with goods and services that meet your consumer rights.  Once discussing your needs we have a responsibility to provide an itemised estimate of costs divided into two sections. First the costs that we as a funeral director have full control of, such as hearse, coffin, administration costs, etc. Secondly, third party costs that we pay on your behalf, such as church fees, crematorium, organist etc. Third party fees can vary between crematoria’s, celebrants, flowers etc. However, we will always be transparent and honest with our costings. VAT is not chargeable on a funeral. We will request a signature on the funeral estimate as proof that the information has been discussed and approved with the client.

PAYMENT TERMS

Payment is required in full within thirty days from the date of invoice, following the funeral taking place. (N.B If choosing a Direct Burial or Direct Cremation payment is required in full before it can take place) A deposit will only be requested for items such as casket coffins, motor bike hearses, horse drawn hearse and the like prior to the funeral.
